In 1987 Mark O'Connor arrived at John Lerner flutes and quickly made a mark, taking over management of the company in 1990. Karen Greenfield Office istration Karen is trying to forget exactly how long she has been occupied here, but her assets of experience means she can solve your admin problem, track your shipment and process your payment, quicker than a speeding bullet. While she has never been tempted away from piano and violin, to try her hand at woodwind, over 25 years in the industry ensures Karen is healthy positioned to help with your inquiry. Ian is the fresh boy on the block, but with the usual tenure of Woodwind Group staff being over 20 years, it is hard to catch up ! Hailing from the misty moors of Scotland, Ian has plied his trade from hither to thither. China, Singapore, Fresh Zealand even Melbourne, all have been places Ian has called home. Guaranteed to make your time with us a pleasure, Ian probably enjoys the process of clients playing and testing flutes, even more than they do. Having made clarinets in England and flutes in Japan, players in Australia are fortunate to have this level of ability available to them. The end in line of an instrument fix dynasty, Gary has done seen heard, and repaired it all. Born in Nottingham England, Mark grew up (?). For some 17 years our premises were one of the best kept secrets in Australia. With a machine shop out the back, tidy workshops upstairs and a small office and showroom down stairs.
